Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease spreading globally. China's Yunnan Province, which shares long borders with Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam, serves as a major gateway for imported dengue cases. Analysis of 12 years of surveillance data (2011-2023) examined epidemiological characteristics and importation patterns of dengue fever in southwest border regions.
