Tehran, Tehran Province, Iran

Operation Epic Fury marks a turning point in the art of war. The key to 20th-century battles was air power. In the past, space and cyber activities have traditionally played supporting roles... In this conflict they have become mainstream, carving out new fronts for the wars of the future. The US Space Force uses a global sensor network to find digital aim points fed into an automated electromagnetic kill chain. Electronic warfare aircraft digitally attacked radar systems protecting Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. General Dan Caine stated coordinated operations disrupted communications across the area. Iran responded by jamming GPS for over 1,000 ships and switching to the Chinese BeiDou system. Chinese commercial firm MizarVision is reportedly providing proxy intelligence to Iran using weaponized US satellite imagery.
