House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford (AR-01) announced an open full Committee hearing for Thursday, March 19, to examine the annual assessment of worldwide threats to the national security of the United States. The hearing featured testimony from the leaders of the U.S. Intelligence Community, including Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence; William Burns, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency; Christopher Wray, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; General Timothy Haugh, Director of the National Security Agency; and Lieutenant General Jeffrey Kruse, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. The session addressed a broad spectrum of risks including geopolitical competition, cyber threats, and regional instabilities.
