Heavy rain triggers flood in Roshi River, BP Highway blocked

Continuous rainfall last night has caused flooding in the Roshi River area, blocking the BP Highway. The affected section had been temporarily restored after last year’s flood and landslide had damaged the highway. Sunil Dhaju, chief of the District Police Office, confirmed the disruption, noting that the river's water level rose significantly, overflowing onto the road surface and making it unsafe for vehicular traffic. Authorities are monitoring the situation as rain continues in the catchment area.
