The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released its current outbreak list as of February 2026, highlighting several critical public health threats both within the United States and internationally. Recent U.S. outbreaks include Salmonella linked to Super Greens supplement powder (January 2026), Salmonella in raw oysters (December 2025), and infant botulism associated with formula (November 2025). Additionally, ongoing investigations into Listeria in prepared pasta meals and a multi-state measles outbreak are noted. On the international front, the CDC is monitoring Marburg and Ebola situations (late 2025), along with Oropouche and Dengue. New Level 2 Travel Health Notices have been issued for Chikungunya in the Seychelles and Suriname (February 2026), and Clade II Monkeypox in Ghana and Liberia (January 2026). Other active travel warnings include Global Dengue, Rabies in Morocco, and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in Mexico. The CDC continues to provide resources for food safety and waterborne disease investigation to assist public health departments.
