Two NYC men charged with allegedly plotting to spread date rape drug

A pair of Manhattan men were arrested this week after they allegedly imported one million individual doses of the lethal date rape drug GBL into NYC. Mark Dygdon and Rodrigo Castro allegedly conspired to flood the five boroughs with seven tons of the drug gamma-butyrolactone, which also goes by street names like Blue Nitro and Revivarant and leaves users with euphoric and sedative effects.
