Major wildfire breaks out in Oinoi, Mandra Municipality: 112 Emergency Alert issued as 144 firefighters & 12 aircraft battle blaze

A wildfire has broken out in farmland and woodland in the Sfaka area near Oinoi, in Mandra, Attica. According to the Fire Service, the blaze started shortly before 3:30pm and is not threatening homes. Emergency services deployed 144 firefighters and 12 aircraft to combat the fire. A 112 emergency alert was issued to residents instructing them to remain on standby.
